Value-Based Purchasing Dinner Seminar

Are you and your agency team ready for the upcoming changes expected with nationwide expansion of home health Value-Based Purchasing (VBP)? HealthCare ConsultLink is offering an educational training that focuses on the VBP initiative that has been expanded to include all Medicare-certified home health agencies beginning in calendar year 2023. This event is designed as a dinner event to allow attendees to enjoy an evening of dinner, information, and discussion away from the office and the heavy demands of a normal day.

Participants will learn how CMS is incentivizing agencies to deliver high quality and efficient care and what agencies can do to prepare for their upcoming performance year. Discussions will include a focused review of the quality measures for scoring including specific OASIS items key to VBP, steps to reduce emergency room visits and hospitalizations, and a closer look at the HHCAHPS survey. This workshop will also give instructions on how to monitor your progress with CASPER reports in the iQIES system. The primary audience for this training includes owners, administrators, managers, and clinicians; however, others are invited to attend as well.

Event topics:
  • Value-Based Purchasing overview
  • OASIS measures related to VBP
  • Reducing hospitalizations and ED visits
  • Examining the HHCAHPS survey
  • Using reports to assess performance
  • Steps to maximize performance and improve outcomes

Join us for a very informative event that will include recommendations for actions you can take in your agency to prepare your team for success starting in just a few months!
